HBO,Napoleon Miniseries greenlit from Stanley Kubrick -Steven Spielberg

Around 1960, the enigmatic Stanley Kubrick was heavily researching the life of Napoleon Bonaparte for an upcoming feature length film he wanted to direct. Those plans however, were squashed by the studio who pulled the plug after 2 years of work and in depth screenplay writing from Kubrick....
Picking up from where Kubrick left off, Steven Spielberg is now set to produce a television miniseries version of Stanley Kubrick's Napoleon. HBO is said to take a stab at bringing the series to its network, they are also eyeing creative director Baz Luhrmann to bring the project to life.  Baz Luhrmann is best known for directing The Great Gatsby and Moulin Rouge

According to Kubrick experts, Napolean is the greatest film never made.
