Batman vs. Superman news and Wonder Women teaser

In an interview with The Wrap costume designer Michael Wilkinson  was asked specifically about working on Wonder Woman's outfit which he called a "thrilling and slightly scary prospect."

"It's so important to get her right. She really deserves to be presented on-screen in her full glory. So what I do is I look at the history of how the character has been presented on the big-screen, and the small-screen, and in comic books, and graphic novels. We process it all. Then we kind of put that aside and work out what is right for our film, for the cinematic universe that our director Zack Snyder is putting together. We try and create a Wonder Woman that's relevant for today's audiences."

When asked if he thought it would be realistic for her to be fighting crime in her outfit, Wilkinson replied:

"Absolutely! I mean, you just have to look at the gladiators from ancient Rome, they did their thing in little loin clothes and shield....It works for Thor, it works for 300, so let's see what happens."
The Zack Snyder-directed film is set to open on May 6, 2016.

News on upcoming Batman vs. Superman and Warcraft

An Article from Variety with producer Charles Roven, taking about Batman Vs Superman as well as the upcoming Warcraft movie.

On Batman vs. Superman, we started soft prep in June, and well be shooting eight months later....We felt that we accomplished our goals with Man of Steel, our intention was to bring Superman into the 21st century with a contemporary character and a different kind of superhero than whats out there right now...We knew we had created a world and we had left Easter eggs in the movie that let people know that in the universe that Zack was creating, there was the possibility of other DC characters besides Clark Kent."

Regarding the upcoming sequel, Roven says the idea has been around for some time.

"We had a sketch of an idea, the beats of a story that David Goyer worked on with Zack. We have a first draft, and we're continuing to work with it. Those scripts are never fully finished until the movie is in the theaters. We love the characters we think that Ben (Affleck) is going to be a really great and interesting Batman.

If you think your "Fire Ben Affleck as Batman" petition is going to work, think again. Roven says he's the guy.

We wanted a guy who had a certain age and a certain gravitas to what he had done in terms of his recent work. If you take a look at The Town and Argo, he plays a couple of serious guys in those movies. He's a big man. He's also a mature man. As you see him and Henry together, one definitely has much more experience just by looking at him. That's what we wanted, particularly juxtaposed against our Superman.

Roven also briefly mentioned the upcoming Warcraft film, which he says will begin production this January.

I have a great partner in Alex Gartner, who's in Vancouver with our director Duncan Jones, Roven says. I was there last week. I'm in an editing room on American Hustle and in the production office in Pasadena on Batman and flying up to Vancouver for Warcraft  which will start in early January.

Batman vs. Superman is set to debut in theaters July 17, 2015, while Warcraft will open on December 18, 2015.

Batman Vs Superman news: Christian Bale talks about THE 'Batman Voice' and advises Ben Affleck

Christian Bale sat down with MTV to talk about his latest movie Into The Furnace , what reporters were also asking Bale about Batman and The Voice...which led to him bringing up Ben Affleck.

Here is a snippet of the interview:
Bale said, “It’s an interesting thing, you know what I mean. We were finished. Chris [Nolan] and I said before we started making Dark Knight Rises, ‘This is it. This is the finale. We’re going out.’ ’ And then a year later, people said, ‘That’s it? You’re going out?’ And we went, ‘We’ve kind of been saying that for a couple of years.’”

Talking about THE voice he used for Batman, Bale explains in details:

"I got there. They put me in Val Kilmer's suit. It didn't even fit properly, and I stood in it and I went 'I feel like an idiot.' What kind of guy walks around, dressed like a bat? And is then going to go 'Hello, how are you? Just ignore that I'm dressed as a bat.' Of course, he's meant to be doing this," Bale said. "If you look at the history of the guy and the pain that he went through. I went 'I can't do this in a normal voice. I have to become a beast in order to sell this to myself.' "
Even though that voice would go on to define what people thought of Batman's voice, the initial reviews of Bale's audition weren't as sterling as his later ones. "I went home that evening, and my wife said, 'How'd it go?' I went, 'I kind of did this.' And I showed her, and she went, 'Oh, you f---ed that one up, didn't you?' " he said. "Thank God they went for it."

New DC Comics Justice League movie news and DC Universe announcement

As previously discussed through his many interviews, Guillermo del Toro is working on a "Justice League Dark" film
The movie will feature the likes of  DC's own Swamp Thing, The Demon, John Constantine, Deadman, The Spectre , Zatara and Zatanna.

Del Toro however, recently dropped a bomb during his latest interview, talking about the possibility of expending the lineup of the DC Universe and its superheroes.
To quote Del Toro: " "We're still on (Justice League Dark), writing, and hopefully it will happen but there are no developments that are new. We're still at Warner Bros., they are making plans for the entire DC universe. All the superheroes, all the mythologies, and part of that is Justice League Dark. They're planning on TV, movies, and all the media, so we have to fit into that plan."

This is extremely exciting news, especially if Guillermo Del Toro can adapt multiple DC superheroes into film and give it a Pan's Labyrinth or Cronos  type treatment.

Batman Vs Superman - Teaser Clip

BATMAN VS SUPERMAN
Henry Cavill as Superman and ...Daredevil himself- Ben Affleck as our beloved Batman.
Man of Steel may have been one of the better Superman installments, and Cavill had a big part in this.
As for Affleck as Batman, it is hard to think of a Bostonian as Bruce Wayne for most fans, practically calling out for Afflecks head when he was announced as Christian Bales replacement.
These will be incredibly hard shoes to fill for Mr. Affleck, but not long ago, Christian Bale was simply an awkward skinny British actor who appeared in the underwhelming (compared to the book) American Psycho and the agonizing "big budget" film  Reign of Fire.
In any case, Batman Vs Superman, if done in the darker tones of Christopher Nolan's Batman resurrection can be fantastic.
Here is set video described as "Day 1 of filming for 2015's "Batman Vs. Superman". The scene takes place at Gotham City University's Stadium facing off against rivals Metropolis University. Everyone in the audience was given various Gotham Football shirts. Some black, some yellow, some T Shirts, some sweatshirts, etc."
