WARCRAFT movie news and casting rumor confirmed!

Warcraft movie news has been sporadic, and even casting rumors never seem to ever quite confirm 100% an actors involvement, HOWEVER, the casting rumor of Colin Farrell is resilient and now, an interview with Farrell pretty much confirms that their is truth to the rumor.
In an interview with IGN  Farrell discusses the film and gives us reason to believe he is involved

"Don't know what's happening, man. I read the script, if that's any use to you, and it's amazing....Duncan was cool. I sat with Duncan for awhile and read the script, loved the script, and we was as cool as can be. I don't know what's happening with the film. I don't know where they are in the process...It's just a world that I never explored  and it's a really big and fantastical world. I can't imagine what he, being as visually gifted as he is, Duncan, and what he did on Moon with, like, a dime, I can't imagine what he'd do with this Warcraft."
When asked what character he might be play

"Can I? I probably shouldn't. I don't even know, actually, I'll just say that! I don't even know. We were just talking, and Duncan just said, There might be something in it for you! And I said, Catering? [Laughs]"

Release date is set for December 18th 2015

It had been sorta, kinda announced a few years ago, but now, there is finally an official description of the plot. The story will focus on humans and orcs heroes from the original game. Warcraft could have gone in so many directions, and still could if future films are made, but this film will take from the storyline of the story surrounding the Eastern Kingdom of Azeroth.
Although no actors have yet been signed on for the project, it has been rumored that Colin Farrell, Paula Patton (Mission Impossible), and Travis  Fimmel (Vikings TV series) have been approached for some title roles.
